Whether it's the Golden Triangle, a wedding, or family you haven't seen in years, the India e-Visa is straightforward once the photo and the arrival airport are right. Those two are what most applications come back on.
Almost every visitor needs a visa for India, and for most nationalities the e-Visa is the simplest way to get one. It must be approved before you fly.

We file the tourist e-Visa, which covers sightseeing, visiting friends and family, and short yoga or wellness courses. Tell us if your trip is business or medical and we'll advise.
Urgent is issued within about 24 hours for $100. Normal processing is three to four working days: $50 from July to March, $35 from April to June.
No — the e-Visa is valid only at designated airports and seaports. Most major ones qualify, but tell us your arrival city and we'll confirm before you pay.
A recent passport-style photo, face square to the camera, plain light background, no shadows. A phone photo against a white wall usually works — we check it before submitting.
The tourist e-Visa isn't extendable. If you need longer, a regular tourist visa from an Indian mission is the route — message us and we'll explain.
We only submit what we think will be approved. If we spot a problem first we tell you and refund in full, rather than let it go through and fail.
Shrish Travels is a private visa-assistance service, not affiliated with any government. Official applications can also be made directly on the relevant government portal.
