Am I eligible for the online eVisa?
Only if you hold a valid visa or residence permit from the USA, UK, Ireland or a Schengen country. Without one, the online route isn't open to you.
What if I'm not eligible?
Then you need a sticker visa through VFS Global, which means an appointment and biometrics. We'll tell you before you pay, and refund you in full if you've already paid.
How long can I stay?
The eVisa is normally issued for a 30-day single-entry stay for tourism.
Is the eVisa valid for Istanbul airport transit?
If you stay airside between flights you generally don't need one. If you're leaving the airport to see the city, you do.
How long will it take?
It varies with the route you need. The online eVisa is usually quick; a sticker visa depends on appointment availability, so start early.
What do you need from me to start?
Passport scan, plus a scan of the US, UK, Irish or Schengen visa or residence permit you hold.
